Are Ivan Troy shoes true to size?
Ivan Troy shoes are crafted in Italy and sized according to Italian sizing conventions. They are generally true to size, though we recommend measuring your foot in centimetres and comparing against our size guide at ivantroy.com/size-guide before ordering. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for the most comfortable fit.
What is the difference between US and Italian shoe sizes?
Italian sizing runs approximately one size larger than US sizing for men, and slightly differently for women. For example, a US Men’s size 10 corresponds approximately to an Italian size 43. Our size guide at ivantroy.com/size-guide provides a complete conversion chart for men, women, and boys. We always recommend measuring your foot rather than relying on your usual size from another brand.
Do you offer half sizes?
Our men’s and women’s collections include selected half sizes depending on the style. The available sizes for each style are shown on the individual product page. If your size is not available, we recommend sizing up and using a thin insole for a precise fit. If you need guidance on a specific style, please contact us at info@ivantroy.com.
My feet are different sizes. Which size should I order?
This is more common than you might think. We recommend ordering the size that fits your larger foot. A shoe that is very slightly large on one foot is far more comfortable than one that is too small. A thin insole or heel grip, available at most shoe care retailers, can help achieve a more precise fit on the smaller foot.
How do I measure my foot at home?
Place a piece of paper on a hard floor and stand on it with your full weight. Trace around your foot with a pencil held vertically. Measure the longest distance from heel to toe in centimetres. Do this for both feet and use the larger measurement. Compare against our size guide at ivantroy.com/size-guide. We recommend measuring in the afternoon, as feet tend to be slightly larger later in the day.

How long does shipping take?
Standard US shipping takes 5–7 business days. Express shipping (2–3 business days) and overnight shipping (next business day) are available at checkout. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer complimentary standard shipping on all US orders over $199. No code is required — free shipping is applied automatically at checkout when your order total reaches the threshold. Members of The Connoisseur tier of the Ivan Troy Circle enjoy always-free shipping on every order, regardless of order value.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, Ivan Troy ships worldwide. We ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and most international destinations. International shipping rates and estimated delivery times vary by destination and are displayed at checkout. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We process orders quickly to ensure fast dispatch. If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@ivantroy.com or call (323) 504-2673. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel it, but you can return it under our returns policy.
How do I track my order?
When your order is dispatched you will receive an email containing your tracking number and a direct link to track your shipment in real time. You can also log into your Ivan Troy account at ivantroy.com to view your order status at any time. If your tracking has not updated within 48 hours of your dispatch email, please contact us and we will investigate immediately.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on unworn, unaltered items in their original condition and packaging. Items must be returned with all original packaging, dust bags, and accessories. Items that show signs of wear, have been altered, or are not in original condition cannot be accepted for return. Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned unless faulty.
How do I start a return?
To initiate a return, email us at info@ivantroy.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and your reason for returning. We will respond within 24 hours with your return authorisation and instructions. Please do not return items without a return authorization as we cannot guarantee they will be accepted.
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
Can I exchange for a different size or colour?
Yes. If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or color, please contact us at info@ivantroy.com within 7 days of delivery. Subject to stock availability, we will arrange an exchange as quickly as possible. If the size or color you need is not available, we will issue a full refund.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we process your refund within 5–7 business days. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider — typically an additional 3–5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
My item arrived damaged. What should I do?
We are very sorry if your order arrived in less than perfect condition. Please photograph both the packaging and the item before doing anything else, and email the photos to info@ivantroy.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund without hesitation. We take great pride in our packaging and we take any damage seriously.

What leather do you use?
All Ivan Troy leather products — shoes, handbags, belts, wallets and accessories — are made from full-grain calfskin leather sourced from tanneries in central Italy. Full-grain leather is the highest quality grade of leather, cut from the outermost layer of the hide with the natural surface left entirely intact. It is stronger, more breathable, and more durable than lower-grade leathers, and develops a beautiful patina with wear that makes each piece uniquely yours over time.
Are Ivan Troy shoes really handmade?
Yes. Every pair of Ivan Troy shoes is handcrafted in Naples, Italy, by skilled artisans using traditional Neapolitan shoemaking techniques. This includes hand-lasting — where the leather is shaped over a wooden form by hand — and in many styles, Goodyear welt construction, where the upper and sole are stitched together by hand. No two pairs are ever completely identical, because no two pairs of hands are ever completely identical.
Where are Ivan Troy shoes made?
Ivan Troy shoes are designed in Los Angeles, California, and handcrafted in Naples, Italy. Our leather is sourced from Italian tanneries in central Italy. Every stage of production takes place in Italy, in partnership with a family-owned atelier whose artisans have been making shoes for generations.
How do I care for my leather shoes?
Full-grain calfskin leather responds beautifully to proper care. The basics: brush with a horsehair brush to remove surface dirt, condition every 4–6 weeks with a quality leather conditioner, polish with a wax-based polish matched to your shoe colour, and protect with a leather waterproofing spray before first wear. Store with cedar shoe trees to maintain shape and absorb moisture.

Do leather shoes get better with age?
Full-grain calfskin leather is one of the only materials in the world that genuinely improves with wear. As you wear your shoes, the leather softens in the right places, absorbs polish and natural oils, and develops a patina — a deepening and enriching of the surface color and texture — that is entirely unique to you. What is the difference between Croco-embossed and full-grain leather?
Full-grain calfskin leather retains the natural grain of the hide — it is the most natural and most durable form of leather. Croco-embossed leather begins as full-grain calfskin that is then pressed with a crocodile or alligator pattern to create a textured surface. Both are high-quality leathers — the Croco-embossed styles have a bolder, more distinctive aesthetic, while the full-grain styles have a more classic, refined look that ages into a deeper patina over time.

What is the Ivan Troy Circle?
The Ivan Troy Circle is our loyalty programmed — a way of recognizing and rewarding the customers who make Ivan Troy what it is. Members earn Naples Credits on every purchase, review, referral, and more. Credits can be redeemed for money off future orders. The Circle has three tiers — The Atelier, The Craftsman, and The Connoisseur — each offering greater rewards as your membership grows.
How do I join the Ivan Troy Circle?
Simply create an account at ivantroy.com. The moment you register, you are automatically enrolled as a member of The Atelier — the first tier of the Circle. Your first order will immediately earn you Naples Credits. There is no application, no fee, and no minimum spend required to join.
What are Naples Credits and how do I earn them?
Naples Credits are the currency of the Ivan Troy Circle. You earn them by purchasing (1–2 credits per $1 spent depending on your tier), leaving a review (50 credits), leaving a photo review (100 credits), referring a friend (200 credits when they make their first purchase), signing up for an account (100 credits), and on your birthday each year (150 credits).

When do my Naples Credits expire?
Naples Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. Birthday credits are the exception — these expire 30 days after they are issued to encourage you to treat yourself in the right season. Your credit balance is always visible in your account dashboard at ivantroy.com.
How do I redeem my Naples Credits?
Apply your Naples Credits at checkout. Simply log into your account, add your items to your cart, and select how many credits you would like to apply at the checkout screen. You can use all your credits at once or save some for a future order. 100 credits = $1 off your order total.

Yes, absolutely. 10% of every Ivan Troy sale goes directly to the AEHO Foundation — the African Educational and Health Outreach Foundation. What does the AEHO Foundation do?
The African Educational and Health Outreach (AEHO) Foundation is a US-registered non-profit committed to improving education and healthcare in Africa, with current programmes centred in Mali, West Africa. Ivan Troy’s founder was born in Mali. The commitment to give back to Malian communities is not corporate philanthropy at a distance — it is deeply personal. What age does the boys’ collection fit?
The Ivan Troy boys’ collection is designed for boys aged 4 to 10. Shoe sizes cover the range appropriate for this age group. We recommend using our size guide at ivantroy.com/size-guide to find the correct size for your child, as children’s feet grow quickly and the right fit matters even more than with adult shoes.
Is the boys’ collection the same leather as the adult collection?
Yes. We use exactly the same full-grain calfskin leather in our boys’ collection as in our men’s and women’s collections. The same Italian tanneries. The same Naples artisans. The same standards of construction. We believe that a boy’s first well-made leather shoe should be made properly — not as a junior version of quality, but as the real thing.
