Find your perfect fit.
A shoe that fits well is a shoe you will wear for years. We want every Ivan Troy pair to feel as though it was made for you — because in many ways, it was. Use this guide to find your size with confidence before you order.
How to Measure Your Foot
For best results, measure both feet in the afternoon when they are at their largest. Use the measurement of your larger foot. Wear the socks or hosiery you would normally wear with the shoes.
01.
Prepare
Place a piece of plain paper on a hard floor. Stand on it with your full weight, wearing your usual socks or hosiery.
02.
Trace
Hold a pencil vertically and trace carefully around your entire foot, keeping the pencil touching your skin and pointing straight down at all times.
03.
Measure
Draw a straight line from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe. Measure this line in centimetres and inches. This is your foot length. Compare against the charts below.

Women’s Shoe Sizes

Ivan Troy women’s shoes are crafted on Italian lasts and sized in EU, following the Italian luxury sizing standard used by brands such as MGemi and Gianvito Rossi. Our women’s collection runs from EU 35 (US 5) to EU 44 (US 14). Italian shoes typically run slightly narrower than US styles. If you have a wider foot, we recommend sizing up half a size.

Men’s Belt Sizes
How to find your correct belt size
The correct belt size is determined by your trouser waist size, not your actual body measurement. Your belt size should be 2 inches (5 cm) larger than your trouser waist so the buckle pins comfortably on the middle hole, with room to adjust either way.
| TROUSER WAIST | BELT LENGTH (in) | BELT LENGTH (cm) | IVAN TROY SIZE |
|---|---|---|---|
| 28" | 30" | 76 cm | XS |
| 30" | 32" | 81 cm | S |
| 32" | 34" | 86 cm | S/M |
| 34" | 36" | 91 cm | M |
| 36" | 38" | 97 cm | M/L |
| 38" | 40" | 102 cm | L |
| 40" | 42" | 107 cm | L/XL |
| 42" | 44" | 112 cm | XL |
| 44" | 46" | 117 cm | XXL |
| 46" | 48" | 122 cm | XXL |
Thread a soft measuring tape through the belt loops of a pair of trousers that fit you well. Measure the circumference where the belt sits. Add 2 inches (5 cm) to this measurement. This is your belt size.
Alternatively, measure an existing belt that fits you: measure from the fold of the buckle to the hole you normally use. This gives you your correct belt size directly.
Women’s Belt Sizes
Women’s belts are sized differently depending on where they are worn — at the natural waist (narrower) or at the hip (wider). Identify your wearing position and use the corresponding measurement from the chart below.

General Fitting Advice
From our Naples artisans
Full-grain calfskin leather has a natural breaking-in period. Your Ivan Troy shoes will feel slightly firm on the first few wears as the leather softens and begins to mould to the shape of your foot. This is normal — and it is the beginning of the patina process that makes each pair uniquely yours over time.
If your shoes feel slightly snug on first wear, wear them for short periods initially — an hour at a time — allowing the leather to adjust gradually. A small amount of leather conditioner applied to areas of friction will help.
If your shoes feel significantly too tight after two or three wears, please contact us at info@ivantroy.com. We will arrange an exchange quickly and without fuss.
A well-fitted shoe feels secure but not tight. Your toes should have room to move and your heel should not slip with each step.
